We want to gain DGR status with the ATO and ACNC. This is a complex process and we need a skilled professional/s to take us through the process of achieving it.

Responsibilities of the online volunteering project

  • Working with the ATO and ACNC to ensure we are able to gain DGR
  • Set up board
  • Commence committee meetings
  • Register with Consumer Affair VIC
  • Lodge with ASIC - Registered Australian Body
  • Register with ACNC
  • Register with ATO
  • Register with DFAT
  • Run regular meetings
  • Accountable structure
  • Co-operating with the Founder and Board of Sewing the Seeds to ensure everything is done correctly
  • Any other requirements or changes that need to to be made in order for us to move forward

The benefit to you, the volunteer

We are creating an environment of economic independence for marginalized women in India by teaching them sewing skills. You will play a key role in getting our organization officially started and allowing us to move forward.
