The problem needing to be solved

We currently have 5000 - 6000 contacts in 4 different locations including mailchimp, eventbrite, squarespace. We would like a central CRM that is easy to manage and update. We currently do not have budget to pay for a subscription service so we would be open to considering a low tech version such as an excel spreadsheet or free CRM service depending on data limits. We dont have a dedicated communications staff member so the system needs to be simple and usable for up to 6 people.

Responsibilities of the online volunteering project

Essential for CRM solution

  • Simple and easy for all staff to use
  • Clear priorities for types of updates/record keeping link to our engagement strategy (to be refined)
  • advice on management of CRM ongoing, purpose fit for staffing/resources

Identify and present three CRM options and how they meet our need

Thoroughly research the options in accordance with the provided list of essential features (above) and provide advice to us before decision is made

Help us to set it up and migrate contacts

Support a handover to the GSP team
