The problem needing to be solved

Jasiri Australia works with young women and helps them develop a strong and supportive community through sport. We now want to expand working with younger kids and hands-on with survivors and need the legal policies to do so. We need a legal expert to design two policies and procedures: Child Protection Policy and Working With Vulnerable People Policy.

The policies need to be applicable nationwide for our organisation and volunteers. The need clear and easy to understand guidelines. With your help, we will be able to rapidly expand Jasiri's impact.

Responsibilities of the online volunteering project

  • Design a robust "Child Protection Policy" and "Working With Vulnerable People Policy" that covers all of Jasiri Australia's programs and volunteer duties
  • Provide easy to understand guidelines
  • Assist Jasiri Australia with the implementation of the policy
  • Ensure the finalised policy complies with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade compliance standards
  • Create two versions of the policies, one that is simple for children to understand and a comprehensive policy for governance
