The problem needing to be solved

We want to ensure the festivals we host in communities across Australia are safe and complying with legal requirements.

Responsibilities of the online volunteering project

We need you to:

  • identify the key risks of hosting events on public space
  • check if our current public liability insurance covers these risks
  • advise on any considerations and legal requirement we should be aware of

The benefit to you, the volunteer

Seaside Scavenge is growing rapidly. There is demand for our waste education programs in communities across the globe but we have limited ressources. By working on this project you will play a pivotal role and provide expertise we otherwise couldn't afford which ultimately will enable Seaside Scavenge to continue on our mission to a world with no waste!
