Implementing and supporting the use of the Bondi to Manly Walk

About

The Bondi to Manly Walk is a proposal to link all of the existing coastal and harbourside walking tracks and paths on public land between Australia’s two most famous surf beaches, Bondi and Manly, in an 80 kilometre walk around the foreshore of Sydney Harbour.

The Bondi to Manly Walk has the enthusiastic support of all of the six Councils along the Walk; City of Sydney, Mosman Council, North Sydney Council, Northern Beaches Council, Waverley Council and Woollahra Council, state agencies including the National Parks and Wildlife Service, Property NSW, Roads and Maritime Services, Ports Authority of NSW and Destination NSW, the Sydney Harbour Federation Trust, which is a federal government agency as well as Taronga Zoo, Royal Botanic Gardens and Sydney Opera House.

The partnership to create the Bondi to Manly Walk was officially announced in Sydney on the 25 November 2018.

The Walk also has the strong support of the Walking Volunteers, the Committee for Sydney, the Business Council of Australia, Greater Sydney Commission and both La Perouse and Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Councils.
